Chris was awarded the 2019 New Music USA Project Grant for his soon-to-be-released trio album project Embrace, featuring Linda May Han Oh and Tim Keiper, produced by Keith Witty.
Other grantees included Rudresh Mahanthappa, Nicole Mitchell, Etienne Charles, Myra Melford, Miguel Zenon, and several other luminary artists.
